An Interest in Pinterest!?!?!?!

So, how many of you have found this new addiction like me? PINTEREST! I have developed a real Love/Hate relationship with this site. It sucks up valuable time but I have gotten some great stuff from it! New recipes for food I should not eat, ideas for in the studio and decorating ideas for home. For high school seniors.... we are pinning outfit ideas. Please pin ideas for us if you would like.

As some of you may know, my daughter Katie is expecting a little girl in April. They are getting ready to move into a new home in MN too. I have found idea for both the babys room and Haileys ( our step grand daughter) room. Here is one of the projects I am working on for the baby. Simple, easy and best of all....Katie really likes it! I am planning the same thing for Hailey but I want her to come with me to pick out the patterns for each letter.

Spring is Right Around the Corner! at Johnston Photography in Crystal Lake

It is that time again! Johnston Photography in Crystal Lake, IL is now scheduling for their Springtime Portrait Special. Designed for photographing children 6 months to 12 years old, we will once again have one day with a baby lamb. Thursday and Friday March 22& 23 will just be a Springtime Set. Saturday March 24th will be the ONLY day with the live lamb. The same farm we have used in the past will once again provided us with a young lamb for the day. These babies, historically, have been so wonderful and gentle to work with, making for the most precious Easter portraits of your children. These portrait sessions work well with a wide variety or clothing choices. Denim overalls and no shirt, jeans and a t-shirt, a little summer dress all the way to suits and dresses lined with petticoats. The choice is yours. Johnston Photography will only have a limited number of sessions available on the 25th so don't wait to reserve your childrens portrait session time. 815-459-1481 for more information and to reserve your time.

Save The Date

Maggie and Bob have set their wedding date and have selected Johnston Photography in Crystal Lake, IL to be their photographer. One of the items they have included in their Wedding Package is Save the Date cards. With Maggies main color being purple for her special day, we selected it for the main color in their cards. These are postcards for them to mail out to all of their guests in advance of the formal invitation. This way it can be marked off on everyones calendar well in advance.

The images are ones created in their FREE engagement session in our studio. Bob and his family are long time clients of Johnston Photography so he is very familiar with our routine at the studio. 

Sarah limits the number of wedding she does each year to a few select clients. This keeps her fresh and more creative for every bride and groom she works with. Maggie and Bob have chosen a wonderful location for their reception over in Dupage County. Weather permitting it will be perfect for outdoor wedding portraits.
